The text refers the Australian Government’s refusal to apologise to the Stolen Generation of Aboriginal people. (These was a policy in Australia from 1910-1970 where children of Aboriginal descent were forcibly removed from their families.) Although this work is specific to Australia I fell that the words have a particular relevance to people in Europe by operating at personal, polotical, local, national and international level. (On my last day in Berlin I talked with a man who had organised a photography project for street kids. They had taken photos of themselves and their dogs in the subway – I had seen the same teenagers the day beforein station Zoologischer Garten...)
